Stage Floor Usage:
To maintain the integrity of our stage, spiking the floor is not permitted. Weights and braces are available if needed. Should this present any concerns, please contact the Theatre in advance to discuss your requirements.
Construction and Alterations:
We kindly request that no painting or construction work be conducted within the Theatre. Minor alterations and running repairs are permitted within reason. If you have any questions regarding this policy, please reach out to us.
Electrical Equipment Standards:
All electrical equipment provided by your company, including stage lighting, must comply with current safety standards and regulations. Additionally, any stage lights must be fitted with a safety bond for secure usage.
Equipment and Safety:
The Theatre reserves the right to refuse the use of any equipment, including scenery, deemed unsafe. We also reserve the right to prohibit any actions or activities within the Theatre, including performance elements, that could pose a risk to staff, performers, or the public.
Smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the Theatre. This includes smoking as part of a performance and the use of herbal cigarettes. We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a smoke-free environment.
For the protection of our equipment and spaces, food and drinks are not allowed in the Control Box, Stage, or Backstage areas. Food and drink as part of a performance may be allowed at the Theatre’s discretion.
Please familiarize yourself with the Health & Safety Statement available in the Green Room. Your safety and the safety of those around you is our top priority.
Identifying escape routes and fire exits is crucial for your safety. Please take a moment to locate them and refrain from smoking. Exercise common sense and care to protect yourself and others while working in the Theatre.
