St. Michael’s Theatre is on South Street in New Ross, Co. Wexford in the South-East of Ireland.
The town lies on the main road from the ferry port of Rosslare to the major tourist areas of Cork and Kerry. It is built on a steep hill on the banks of the River Barrow. The greater New Ross area has a population of around 6,500 and, with its near hinterland, this figure is closer to 25,000.

St. Michael’s Theatre has full facilities for the disabled including increased seating capacity for wheelchair users. Disabled parking is located at the rear of the building and access to the Theatre is from the car park. There is also an inductive loop hearing system in place for those whose hearing aids have a ‘T’ feature. Please make any requirements known at the time of booking.
Limited on-street parking is available in the vicinity of the Theatre. Patrons are asked to comply with parking restrictions as indicated by the presence of double yellow lines on the street. Please note the Theatre is located in a disk parking zone. Please arrive early to obtain a parking space in the immediate vicinity of the Theatre. Other parking spaces are available within a short walk from the Theatre including those at Super-Valu Car Park, accessible from the Quay.
St. Michael’s Theatre has a full bar facility with a wide selection of beverages. The bar is open to patrons half an hour before and after all performances and also during the interval.
We also operate a Pre-Order/Pre-Pay service for patrons, which means that you can have your drink waiting for you at the interval.
Bar staff will be happy to take your order on arrival at the theatre to avoid interval delays and queuing.
